I have been really busy with work, but also doing a lot of cards. I will put them up over the next few days.
This first one was for my manager’s baby shower, Forget-Me-Not Flower Fairy. It is one of a set of Flower Fairy images I have, but the first time I have used them.
It is hard to see on the scan, but it is actually a tole card, the flower fairy is 3 layers. The back layer is the full picture. The middle layer is the leaves and baby, and the the top layer is just the baby and the leaves it is lying on. I have used mounting tape between each layer to add dimension. This has been layered on to some hand made silk paper, then on to a piece of lace top and bottom, and then a patterned flourish paper. From the same kit as the paper I had some Grand Adhesion flourishies, which are in the top left and bottom right corners, and in the alternate corners around the flower fairy.
Inside is fairly simple, I have used a flourish Congratulations stamp, and flourishes around the edge.
The envelope uses the flourish image from inside, and also some of the Grand Adhesion embellishments from the outside of the card.
